KitchenAid Artisan 6.9 l: not for half portions

Imagine, I say well imagine (we did not change the theme of this blog overnight) that we are at a wrestling match and that the presentation of the opponents is being done: "Ladies and gentlemen, he comes from America, he is even stronger and more powerful than his little brother who has already become legend. Imposing by his size, he is also very powerful with his 1.3 hp! spreading pasta, he will whip cream, he will beat eggs! It is so indestructible that it is said to have been designed in cast metal. His secret weapon? The "Soft Start" function which allows it to deceive the enemy by starting gradually. It is there! It is coming! Here is the new Artisan 6.9 l robot from KitchenAid !!! " Let’s stop joking, let’s see what sets it apart the new Artisan 6.9 l food processor from KitchenAid of the one who already fantasized anyone with a minimum interest in cooking.

No half portions

Finally everything is in the name! While the Artisan robot had a bowl with a capacity of 4.8 liters, the new model goes into the heavyweight category with its 6.9 liters. With such a difference in capacity, the robot must obviously prove itself in terms of power. There too, we go up a notch: if the Artisan 4.8 liters has a direct transmission engine of 300 W, the Artisan 6.9 liters reaches 500 W but without bothering the neighbor since it would even be ultra -quiet !

Tilting head or lifting bowl?

Bigger and more powerful, it was necessary to adapt the machine. While the Artisan KitchenAid has a tilting head, i.e. you have to raise and lower the robot head so that the whisk and other accessories fit into the bowl, the Artisan KitchenAid 6.9 has a lifting bowl. It is therefore up to the bowl to come towards the machine and not the reverse.

A smooth start

Compared to the Artisan KitchenAid 4.8 liter, the 6.9 liter has a new function called "Soft Start ". Thanks to this, you can therefore start a fairly high speed immediately, the robot will start progressively to avoid finding, for example, flour on all the walls of the kitchen. On the Artisan 4.8 liters, the progressive technique is manual since you have to change the different speeds yourself.

And more…

Available for the moment in 5 colors (Apple red apple, pewter gray, frosted white, onyx black and empire red), the Artisan KitchenAid 6.9 liters has the same standard accessories as its little brother: the flat beater, the flat whisk, dough hook and protective pouring cover. The optional accessories are the same, whatever the model. For the purchase of the Artisan 6.9 liter model, you will also receive a recipe book and a music CD. All that remains is to go to the cashier and discover that you will unfortunately have to pay 999 euros to be in possession of this veritable culinary war machine.
